Abbi Pulling scored solid points in the Red Bull Ring with a P6 and P8, before a luckless start in Race 3 denied her a podium shot in the Styrian Hills.

The GB3 Championship headed to Austria for another weekend of racing at the iconic Red Bull Ring, with Abbi Pulling looking to build on her strong pace with Rodin Motorsport.
Abbi immediately showed competitive speed in testing, finishing P7 in all three sessions before moving further up the order once official practice got underway.

She set P5 in FP1 and P6 in FP2 before delivering a standout performance in FP3, topping the session to demonstrate the front-running pace of the Rodin Motorsport car heading into qualifying.

Q1 provided another strong performance, with Abbi initially setting a lap good enough for P6. However, the lap was deleted for track limits, leaving her to start from P9.
She bounced back in Q2, setting the seventh-fastest time to secure another strong starting position for the weekend's races.

Race 1 saw Abbi start from P9 and make a steady opening lap, maintaining her position throughout what proved to be a relatively stagnant race.
She ultimately crossed the line in P8, gaining one position after a rival ahead received a track limits penalty.

Race 2 provided another opportunity to demonstrate her race pace. Starting from P7, Abbi held position through the opening stages and showed strong pace as she looked for a way through the field.
She spent the closing stages applying pressure to Patricio Gonzalez, but despite repeatedly looking for an opportunity, she was unable to find a way past as the defending driver defended hard to the chequered flag.

Abbi's strongest opportunity of the weekend came in Race 3.Starting from P3, she produced an excellent launch and immediately attacked the inside line into Turn 1, putting herself into contention for the lead.
Abbi cautiously kept the car within track limits as she battled at the front, before being slipstreamed past on the run towards Turn 3. As she carefully positioned on the inside, she was for the second weekend in a row, collected when another driver lost control - resulting in contact, unfortunately ending her race and denying her the opportunity to fight for a potential podium.

The result was another frustrating end to a weekend where sadly Abbi had lost a final race oppourtunity through another persons incident.

Abbi heads into 'summer break' away from the race track, before retuning to action at her home race of Silverstone on the 1-2 August for Round 5 of the GB3 Championship.
